Managing your password is essential for keeping your Tradeblock account secure. Here’s everything you need to know:
Resetting Your Password

- Click on “Can’t get in?” and then select “Reset password.”
- Enter the email address associated with your Tradeblock account.
- If an account is found with that email, you’ll receive instructions on how to reset your password.
Tips:
- If you don’t receive the reset link within an hour, double-check that you entered the correct email address and check your spam folder.
- After resetting your password, you’ll be redirected to the app to create a new one. Once saved, you’ll be prompted to log in.
Changing Your Password
To change your password:
- Navigate to your Profile.
- Select Settings.
- Go to Account Information.
- Find the "Password" section, click Edit, and update your password.
Password Best Practices
To protect your account, follow these best practices for creating and managing your password:
- Avoid Personal Information - Don’t use easily guessable details like your name, birthday, or email address.
- Use a Longer Password - Aim for at least six characters, but longer is even better for added security.
- Unique Passwords for Each Account - Don’t reuse passwords across multiple accounts/platforms to prevent compromising all your accounts if one is discovered.
- Mix It Up - Include numbers, symbols, and both uppercase and lowercase letters.
- Avoid Dictionary Words - Don’t use common words; instead, consider random combinations or use a password generator for stronger security.
By following these guidelines, you’ll help keep your account secure and reduce the risk of unauthorized access.
SSO Users
If you used Single Sign-On (SSO) to create your account, you’ll need to change your SSO password with the provider (e.g., Google, Apple) to update your Tradeblock login credentials.
