On Tradeblock, offers are a way to initiate trades, allowing you to either propose a trade to a specific collector or post a trade to the entire community. Offers come in two types: Private Offers and Public Offers.
Private Offers:
- A Private Offer is a trade proposal sent directly to a specific collector who has the shoes you’re looking for. Only the recipient collector can fulfill the offer.
- Private offers expire after 7 days if no response is received.
Public Offers:
- A Public Offer is a trade proposal that you define and post to the entire Tradeblock community, allowing anyone to fulfill it. Any collector with the shoe(s) in the desired condition can view, counter, and fulfill the offer.
- Public offers expire after 30 days if not fulfilled.
Key Differences Between Private and Public Offers:
- The primary difference is the audience. Private offers are sent to a specific collector, while public offers are visible to the entire community.
- Public offers give you the flexibility to have any collector fulfill the deal, whereas private offers are targeted to one collector.
Understanding the differences between these offer types can help you better manage your trades and take full advantage of Tradeblock’s features.
