Trading on Tradeblock is a straightforward process that involves four main steps. Here’s how it works:
STEP 1: Offer creation or decision
Create an offer to send out to the Tradeblock community or accept or counter an offer.
There are two types of offers on the block, 1) private offers that are sent directly to a specific collector and 2) public offers that are posted and shown under ‘Offers’ on the Trade feed.
Not sure which one to start with? We recommend creating a public offer as shown by Tay in the video below but we’ve included the handy chart below to show the options available.

STEP 2: Payment
As a proposer, you’ll review pricing and enter your payment and shipping details before sending an offer. If the other member accepts, you will be charged and expected to follow through with the trade. Once accepted, offers are binding.
Do not send offers you're not willing to commit to. If you back out or refuse to ship after your trade is accepted, you will not be refunded.
As a receiver when you accept an offer, you’ll review pricing and enter your payment and shipping details to confirm the trade. The trade will move directly to processing in your trade inbox.
STEP 3: Shipment
When both parties have confirmed the trade, you each will receive a UPS shipping label that you’ll use to send your sneakers to one of our authentication centers for inspection. You will have 72 hours to ship your shoes. If the 72 hours is set to expire on a Sunday or major holiday when UPS is closed, you are allowed to ship the following morning before the trade is officially canceled. If you’re trading multiple sneakers, please ship them all in a single box.
STEP 4: Authentication
All sneakers traded on the platform go through a detailed and comprehensive 2-factor authentication process. All shoes go through a physical and digital inspection. Once all shoes in a trade have been authenticated, we ship your new shoes out to you!
