Here are the key habits and expectations to maintain your Trusted status on Tradeblock:
✅ 1. Be Upfront About Every Flaw
If there’s anything off about your sneakers—creases, scuffs, glue stains, missing insoles, replacement laces—communicate it before the trade is accepted.
Rule of thumb: If you’d want to know about it before making the trade, you need to say it. Over-communicate. No surprises.
✅ 2. Triple Check Everything Before You Ship
This is where most Trusted Traders slip up. Before sealing the box, double (then triple) check:
- Correct size?
- Correct shoe?
- Left & right both included?
- Laces, box, accessories all there?
These are easy mistakes to avoid—and repeated slip-ups can cost you your status.
✅ 3. Take Clear Pre-Shipment Photos
Well-lit photos of the shoes and the packaging protect you from false claims.
📸 Snap:
- Each shoe (top, bottom, and sides)
- Size tag
- Accessories & box
- Packed box with padding before sealing
These photos are just for you and our support team. Other traders will never see them.
✅ 4. Protect the Box Like It’s Your Own
No one wants to receive a crushed or torn box.
Use bubble wrap, packing paper, or clean newspaper to keep the sneaker box from bouncing around. If your shoes arrive damaged from poor packaging, it counts against you.
✅ 5. Ship Quickly, Ship Right
Once your trade partner’s shoes are authenticated, it’s your turn to ship. Don’t drag your feet.
Timely shipping = smoother trades = stronger reputation = you keep your TT status.
🔁 If You Slip Up…
We get it—mistakes happen. But if QC or auth issues start stacking up, your Trusted status may be paused or revoked. If that happens, you can appeal and earn it back by showing you're serious.
