Trade Protection gives you peace of mind when you’re trading with a Trusted Trader by helping protect the value of the shoes you’re receiving.
Every trade with a Trusted Trader includes $200 in built-in protection at no extra cost. That means if the shoes you receive have serious Quality Control or Authentication issues, you can get up to $200 in restitution—even if you didn’t buy additional protection.
If the shoes you’re receiving are worth more than $200, you can pay a small fee to increase your protection up to the full trade value. The cost is $0.03 per dollar above the $200 included amount.
Example:
If you’re trading for a pair worth $300, that’s $100 above the $200 that’s already included.
Your cost would be $0.03 × 100 = $3 to fully protect the $300 value.
If something goes wrong with the trade, you’ll have the option to send the shoes back and receive restitution for the full amount you protected.
